11-10, 2015. President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday that Russia will counter NATO's U.S.-led missile defense program by deploying new strike weapons capable of piercing the shield. (Alexei Druzhinin/RIA Novosti, Kremlin Pool Photo via AP) MOSCOW — Russia will counter NATO's U.S.-led missile defense program by deploying new strike weapons capable of piercing the shield, President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday. Putin told defense officials that by developing defenses against ballistic missiles Washington aims to "neutralize" Russia's strategic nuclear deterrent and gain a "decisive military superiority." He said that Moscow will respond by developing "strike systems capable of penetrating any missile defenses." Putin's statement comes amid a severe strain in Russia's relations with the U.S. and its NATO allies, which have plunged to the lowest point since the Cold War over the crisis in Ukraine. For many years, the Kremlin has protest...
Eisenhower warns us of the military industrial complex. On January 17, 1961, President Eisenhower delivered his farewell speech to the nation, reflecting his inside knowledge as a former General. He said: “In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.”

They have brought back the Cold War and there is nothing that would make them happier than to create war. The Second Amendment was to keep citizens armed rather than maintain standing armies. Prince Eugene of Savoy was one of the greatest generals of all time. Montesquieu interviewed Savoy for his books and what came out of this encounter was the realization that standing armies provoke wars for those in power, whom felt it was a waste of money unless deployed.
The revelation of Northwoods after the Oliver Stone movie has shed some light on the entire assassination of JFK. The problem with electing an outsider to Washington will be that he indeed would become a target for assassination by the insiders who see themselves as the defender of the faith, which is their agenda. It is like the police today; they are trained to look for the bad guys, and suspect that everyone is a criminal. Those in the military establishment are the same. Everything they see is a threat to their power. Presidents have become puppets.

What could be better to beat the drum for regime change than tying North Korean missiles to Syria and chemical weapons? Apparently, the New York Times did just that when it wrote about a leaked UN report. The article, run by the respectable US newspaper on Tuesday, is based on a 200-page report by a group of eight experts who were tasked by the UN Security Council to monitor how sanctions against North Korea are implemented. The country was punished for developing nuclear weapons and rocket technology with serious restrictions on how it can trade with foreign nations and has been finding ways to circumvent those. The NYT focused on two particular episodes mentioned in the report. One was the interception in January 2017 of two ships carrying acid-resistant tiles from North Korea to Syria, with three other such contracted shipments revealed via paper tracking, although whether or not they were actually made remains unclear. The UN experts said such tiles are “commonly used in...
