Fulfilling our obligations [3:76] Indeed, those who fulfill their obligations and lead a righteous life, GOD loves the righteous. [3:77] As for those who trade away GOD's covenant, and their obligations, for a cheap price, they receive no share in the Hereafter. GOD will not speak to them, nor look at them, on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. They have incurred a painful retribution. From these verses of the Quran, we can see that all humans have certain obligations to fulfill in order to enjoy God’s grace and be redeemed by Him. In the Quran, God has provided us with the information we need about our obligations and how to fulfill them. There are both religious obligations and obligations for everyday righteous living. Obligation is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as “An act or course of action to which a person is morally or legally bound; a duty or commitment.” Religious obligations Our religious obligations include the religious practices: The Contact Prayers ...

Just wanted you to know how much I like your web site. It has been extremely helpful to me. I’ve been thru just about every religion under the sun, from paganism to Judaism to Christianity (+through the various sects within Christianity.) While I would find some answers, there was always something driving me forward. After reading the Bible (all of it) and coming away from that with more questions, suspicions, doubts, etc. I then also investigated how the church got its dogma, how reliable was the Bible, etc. Needless to say, what I found surprised me, and sent me searching even more. Then I decided to see what Islam had to say. God, in His grace, had me hit your web site. I started to get answers to some long-standing questions. Then I read the Quran (still am – though I’m almost done). And everything was clear. I haven’t had such clarity – ever. I wish every one would read it. Unlike the Bible, where I noticed so many discrepancies, illogical conclusions, the Quran is clear, concise,...

World Blog by humble servant.TRUE ISLAM (SUBMISSION) No Blind Faith.

The religion of Islam (Submission to God alone) as preached by Prophet Muhammad with the holy Quran has no place for blind faith. The Quran shares this knowledge with us in different ways. When they are told, “Follow these revelations of God,” They say,” No, we follow only what we found our parents doing.” What if the devil is leading them to the agony of Hell? (31:21) We must read the Quran and reflect on each and every verse of it: This is a scripture that we sent down to you, that is sacred—perhaps they reflect on its verses. Those who possess intelligence will take heed. (38:29) The Quran educates us to reflect on the creations of God to reinforce our faith in the unseen: In the creation of the heavens and the earth, the alteration of night and day, the ships that roam the ocean for the benefit of the people, the water that God sends down from the sky to revive dead land and to spread in it all kinds of creatures, the manipulation of the winds and the clouds that are placed between...

World Blog by humble servant.THE TRINITY: FACT OR FICTION?

Image
THE TRINITY: FACT OR FICTION? 1. A Christian is one that believes things his reason cannot comprehend... 2. He believes three to be one, and one to be three; a Father not to be elder than his Son; a Sonto be equal with his Father; and one preceding from both to be equal with both; he believing three persons in one nature, and two natures in one person. 3. He believes a virgin to be a mother of a son, and that very son of hers to be her Maker. He believes Him to have been shut up in a narrow room whom heaven and earth could not contain. He believes Him to have been born in time who was and is from everlasting. He believes Him to have been a weak child, carried in arms, who is the Almighty; and Him once to have died who only hath life and immortality in himself. -Francis Bacon (WORKS, vol vii, p.410) Lord Francis Bacon, the seventeenth century philosopher and Chancellor of England who wrote these words, was obviously a believer in the Trinity. The essay quoted consists of thirty-four suc...
