Valuable Lessons from Moses and His Teacher [18:62] 2x6=12+8=20-1=19 After they passed that point, he said to his servant, "Let us have lunch. All this traveling has tired me out. [18:64 1+8=9+6=15+4=19 ] (Moses) said, "That was the place we were looking for." They traced their steps back. [18:65] They found one of our servants, whom we blessed with mercy, and bestowed upon him from our own knowledge. [18:66] 6+6=12+8=20-1=19 Moses said to him, "Can I follow you, that you may teach me some of the knowledge and the guidance bestowed upon you?"  ·[18:67] He said, "You cannot stand to be with me. [18:68] "How can you stand that which you do not comprehend?" [18:69] He said, "You will find me, GOD willing, patient. I will not disobey any command you give me." [18:70] He said, "If you follow me, then you shall not ask me about anything, unless I choose to tell you about it."   [18:71] So they went. When they boarded a ship, he bore...

World Blog by humble servant. The Danger of Humanizing God .

The Danger of Humanizing God When I was growing up in Christianity, there were certain ideas that I heard over and over and just took for granted. I didn’t give them much thought. Looking at those phrases now I can see Satan’s hand in them. They make it easy to diminish God, to humanize Him. Things like: “God is sad when you don’t believe.” God doesn’t need our worship. He doesn’t need our prayers. If we fail to heed His guidance, it doesn’t hurt Him in any way. Under the subtitle: Believe For Your Own Good, 39:7 3+7=10+9=19 makes this clear. If you disbelieve, GOD does not need anyone. But He dislikes to see His servants make the wrong decision. If you decide to be appreciative, He is pleased for you. No soul bears the sins of any other soul. Ultimately, to your Lord is your return, then He will inform you of everything you had done. He is fully aware of the innermost thoughts. Or: “He created man in His image.” This phrase gives one a mental picture of God with a face and a body, fee...

World Blog by humble servant. Do we thank God enough? If you count GOD’s blessings, you cannot possibly encompass them. Do we thank God enough? If you count GOD’s blessings, you cannot possibly encompass them. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. (16:18) God has given us many things in life that we should be thankful for. Therefore, we should be counting our blessings. But we don’t often reflect on what we have. Instead we dwell on what we lack. We cannot have enough of anything, and always want more. We never get tired of asking for more. It is our human nature. [41:49] The human being never tires of imploring for good things. And when adversity befalls him, he turns despondent, desperate. [14:34] And He gives you all kinds of things that you implore Him for. If you count GOD’s blessings, you can never encompass them. Indeed, the human being is transgressing, unappreciative. There is nothing wrong with asking God for good things, as long as we are appreciative of them when He gives us what...

World Blog by humble servant. GOD: THERE IS NO OTHER GOD BESIDE HIM. How many ways can God tell us to worship Him alone?

World Blog by humble servant. GOD: THERE IS NO OTHER GOD BESIDE HIM. How many ways can God tell us to worship Him alone? If you ask any Muslim, even a casual Muslim, what’s the first “pillar” of Islam, they’ll tell you without hesitation the shahadah. I bear witness that there is no god besides God. Most will then nullify that very statement by adding Muhammad name. And that’s the problem. Every Muslim knows absolutely that the fundamental aspect of Islam is to worship God ALONE. Every human being comes with the natural instinct to worship God. So, as it says in 23:89: Where did we go wrong? It’s not as if God doesn’t give us lots of chances. Because we’re weak and rebellious and egotistic, God gives us opportunities to repent and reform, to grow our souls, and to be appreciative. Not just a single chance, but chance after chance. He is so merciful. And since we’re so thick-headed, He makes sure that the information is available to us in multiple forms. So if we don’t get it the first ...
