How you caught a monkey How you catch a monkey you get something shiny or a banana and you get a gourd and you rig it up and put it on a string tie it on top of a cage. When the monkey come by he see it right he grabbed the shiny object and then the cage come down on him bang he's trap .He can get away.But guess what he won't let go he can't his greed has overtaken his paw is frozen he won't release the shiny object the obsession of the shininess overtakes him overwhelms him and he just won't let go so his greed has been use against him and he's trap that's how you catch a monkey his Greed overtakes him. And he cage himself. And he still is hanging on.

January 15, 2016 · Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesn’t fit in with the core belief.  In much of our society, and often in our own lives, we have accepted certain behaviors as perhaps not exactly desirable, but not exactly sinful either. There are many sins that we recognize immediately as serious and destructive, such as abortion, murder, stealing, homosexuality,gambling,alcohol and adultery. These are obvious sins and God willing we would never try to fool ourselves into thinking they were permissible. However, there are other undesirable behaviors that we sometimes get comfortable with, ignore, and tolerate in our own lives and the lives of others for as long as we possibly can. These are what I’m calling  silent sins (making sinning fair seeming) the  ones we can shrug off and make excuses for—pretend that we don’t really need to give them up. We keep these behaviors because they make us feel good in some way—at least in the short term. But they will surely do us some serious damage in the long run.
