World Blog by humble servant. In the Name of Religion. November 14, 2014 4 No Compulsion in Religion.

When people refer to the sources other than the Quran, they can justify almost anything in the name of religion. The killing of innocent people through terrorist acts is an example. There is no justification whatsoever in any scripture of God for such terrorism. As a matter of fact, such unjust acts are prohibited.

Say, “My Lord prohibits only evil deeds, be they obvious or hidden, and sins, and unjustifiable aggression, and to set up beside God powerless idols, and to say about God what you do not know.” [7:33]

O you who believe, do not prohibit good things that are made lawful by God, and do not aggress; God dislikes the aggressors. [5:87].Conditions for Fighting. You may fight in the cause of God against those who attack you, but do not aggress. God does not love the aggressors. [2:190] 2x9=18+0=18+1=19. 09-12. My Birth.A Submitter to God or true Muslim will never initiate an aggressive act. God allows fighting strictly in self-defense, and under certain conditions:

To defend oneself when one is faced with oppression and aggression.

You may fight in the cause of God against those who attack you, but do not aggress. God does not love the aggressors. [2:190]
For religious freedom and to eliminate oppression.

You may also fight them to eliminate oppression, and to worship God freely. If they refrain, you shall not aggress; aggression is permitted only against the aggressors. [2:193]

To protect one's rights.

Certainly, those who stand up for their rights, when injustice befalls them, are not committing any error.
The wrong ones are those who treat the people unjustly, and resort to aggression without provocation. These have incurred a painful retribution. [42:41-42]

If we act in self-defense as a response against people because of injustice, we are supposed to be equitable and just in inflicting punishment. But if we resort to patience and forgiveness, it is better for us even though it is not a very easy thing to do.

Although the just requital for an injustice is an equivalent retribution, those who pardon and maintain righteousness are rewarded by God. He does not love the unjust. [42:40]

Resorting to patience and forgiveness reflects a true strength of character. [42:43]

And if you punish, you shall inflict an equivalent punishment. But if you resort to patience (instead of revenge), it would be better for the patient ones.
You shall resort to patience—and your patience is attainable only with God’s help. Do not grieve over them, and do not be annoyed by their schemes. [16:126-127].Relations with Unbelievers. We are encouraged to have amicable relations with those who do not believe as we do unless they fight us because of our religion.

God does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. God loves the equitable.

God enjoins you only from befriending those who fight you because of religion, evict you from your homes, and band together with others to banish you. You shall not befriend them. Those who befriend them are the transgressors [60:8-9]

We have the right to practice our religion freely, but we must also give the same right to others as long as they don’t transgress. We should remember that there is no compulsion in religion (2:256)2x6=12+5=17+2=19. God does not love the aggressors, and He reminds us that oppression is worse than murder (2:191). Therefore, the religion of Islam (Submission), when practiced in accordance with the Quran, is the religion of peace, justice, and freedom for all.Nigeria terrorist kidnapping attack: against Quran and Submission (Islam).Terrorists supposedly acting in the name of God (Allah in Arabic) and speaking in the name of "Islam" kidnapped schoolgirls in Chibok, Nigeria. It appears the kidnapping carried out by a group "Boko Haram" that has in the past been responsible for killing many innocent victims including school children.

Terrorists like Boko Haram and Al-Qaeda claim that education is forbidden or "haram" (particularly for women), and claim they support "learning of Quran only". Their claims show their ignorance of the Quran and their lack of reason. The Quran strongly encourages education and learning (Quran 96:1-5, 68:1, 29:43, 30:22, 35:28, 58:11), and promotes the equality of men and women.

We see the encouragement of education in Quran as the first Quranic chapter revealed begins with the word "Read", and reminds people that God teaches by means of the pen. The second chapter revealed is titled "The Pen". By forbidding education, the misguided "Muslim leaders" make it harder for their people to progress and succeed. Women constitute half of society and are the teachers of the children. It is all the more important to encourage the education of women.

[96:1] Read, in the name of your Lord, who created.*
[96:2] He created man from an embryo.
[96:3] Read, and your Lord, Most Exalted.
[96:4] Teaches by means of the pen. 9+6=15+4=19
[96:5] He teaches man what he never knew.

[68:1] NuN,* the pen, and what they (the people) write.Kidnapping and/or the killing of innocent victims is completely against Quran. The religion of Submission to God (Islam in Arabic) and the Quran forbids all kinds of aggression including kidnapping. There is absolute freedom of religion (Quran 2:256, 18:29).

God tells us in the Quran that He does not love the aggressors (Quran 2:190-193). Terrorists are not Submitters to God (Muslims in Arabic). The Quran informs us that a righteous person must never aggress, nor be violent or belligerent (Quran 5:87, 7:33, 42:42, 50:25, 22:72, and many more verses).

[Quran 5:87] O you who believe, do not prohibit good things that are made lawful by GOD, and do not aggress; GOD dislikes the aggressors.

[Quran 3:104] Let there be a community of you who invite to what is good, advocate righteousness, and forbid evil. These are the winners.

Murder, Suicide, and Illicit Gains Prohibited

[Quran 4:29] O you who believe, do not consume each others' properties illicitly-- only mutually acceptable transactions are permitted. You shall not kill yourselves. GOD is Merciful towards you.To summarize, the religion of Islam (Submission) forbids terrorist attacks in all forms. The Quran teaches absolute freedom of religion (2:256, 18:29), and God makes it clear that life is sacred (6:151, 17:33, 25:68). The focus is on worship of God and seeking God's approval in our daily lives. Our worship is best attained in peace (2:126, 14:35). Submission (Islam) recognizes that salvation can be attained by anyone who believes in God, believes in the Hereafter and leads a righteous life (5:69).Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish,
the Christians, and the converts; anyone who
(1) believes in GOD, and
(2) believes in the Last Day, and
(3) leads a righteous life,
will receive their recompense from their Lord;
they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve. When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to Me. The people shall respond to Me and believe in Me, in order to be guided. (2:186).2x6=12+8=20-1=19.In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe. Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship. You alone we ask for help. Guide us in the right path; the path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers. (1:1-7)."My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they come near me."""I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak. From the evils among His creations. From the evils of darkness as it falls. From the evils of the troublemakers. From the evils of the envious when they envy.""I seek refuge in the Lord of the people. The King of the people. The god of the people. From the evils of sneaky whisperers. Who whisper into the chests of the people. Be they of the jinns, or the people. Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make mistakes. Our Lord, and protect us from blaspheming against You, like those before us have done. Our Lord, protect us from sinning until it becomes too late for us to repent. Pardon us and forgive us. You are our Lord and Master. Grant us victory over the disbelieving people.""Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us our sins, and spare us the agony of the hellfire.""Our Lord, forgive us our sins, and our transgressions, strengthen our foothold, and grant us victory over the disbelievers."

"My Lord, direct me to be appreciative of the blessings You have bestowed upon me and my parents, and to do the righteous works that please You. Admit me by Your mercy into the company of Your righteous servants." (27:19)

"Our Lord, grant us steadfastness, strengthen our foothold and support us against the disbelieving people."
 ·
"My Lord, grant me wisdom, and include me with the righteous. Let the example I set for the future generations be a good one. Make me one of the inheritors of the blissful Paradise ...And do not forsake me on the Day of Resurrection."

"My Lord, let me not be one of the transgressing people."

"Our Lord, spare us the agony of Hell; its retribution is horrendous. It is the worst abode; the worst destiny."

"My Lord, admit me an honorable admittance, and let me depart an honorable departure, and grant me from You a powerful support."
·
"Our Lord, grant us steadfastness, and let us die as submitters."

"Our Lord, we have believed in what You have sent down, and we have followed the messenger; count us among the witnesses."
·
"Our Lord, let not our hearts waver, now that You have guided us. Shower us with Your mercy; You are the Grantor."

"Our Lord, grant us righteousness in this world, and righteousness in the Hereafter, and spare us the retribution of Hell."

·
"Our Lord, make us submitters to You, and from our descendants let there be a community of submitters to You. Teach us the rites of our religion, and redeem us. You are the Redeemer, Most Merciful."

"Our Lord, forgive us and our brethren who preceded us to the faith, and keep our hearts from harboring any hatred towards those who believed. Our Lord, You are Compassionate, Most Merciful."

"My Lord, make me one who consistently observers the Contact Prayers (Salat), and also my children Our Lord, please answer my prayers."

"Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and shower us with mercy. Of all the merciful ones, You are the Most Merciful."

"Our Lord, shower us with Your mercy, and bless our affairs with Your guidance."

"Our Lord, we have wronged our souls, and unless You forgive us and have mercy on us, we will be losers."

"Our Lord, we have heard a caller calling to faith and proclaiming: `You shall believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, forgive us our transgressions, remit our sins, and let us die as righteous believers. Our Lord, shower us with the blessings you promised us through Your messengers, and do not forsake us on the Day of Resurrection. You never break a promise."
