Sandusky takes lead in Best Coastal Small Town contest

SANDUSKY — Sandusky has secured the top spot on the leaderboard of a nationwide contest.


This week, Sandusky took the No. 1 spot in the Best Coastal Small Town hosted by USA Today. It remains in the middle of the pack in another USA Today contest, Best Midwestern Small Town, at fifth place. 


Since Sandusky won the Best Coastal Small Town contest in 2019 — which was its first-ever win of that award — the city has experienced much growth and community members believe another win would further enhance that.


Sandusky State Theatre executive director Chris Parthemore says that the city has something for everyone and is committed to growing.


“We’ve made so much progress in the past decade, and it’s evident that people across the country have noticed,” Parthemore said. “Sandusky has opened its doors and reimagined itself into a year-round destination for everyone.”


Users can cast their vote once a day until Feb. 20 on 10best.com and keep tabs on Sandusky’s progress.

World Blog by humble servant.I'm just simply saying that I, as a Democrat ,I feel that the two can co-exist. I know this because they always have. Socialism and capitalism have always co-existed in America. I also believe in freedom. I believe options are a form of freedom.
