World Blog by humble servant.Quran The perfect source of knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
The Quran is a singular source of
knowledge and wisdom. It is the best
source of information. It sheds light
on why some things are the way they
are, and enables us to understand the
meaning of things, in order to be able
to look past appearance and make
judicious decisions [16:89] ...We have
revealed to you this book to provide
explanations for everything, and guidance, and mercy, and good news for
the submitters. The irrefutable proof
that the Quran is the last scripture
from God and that it is universal in
nature, comes with the added responsibility of regarding it and following it.
God has divinely preserved the text in
such a manner that it is easy for the
reader to identify any irregularity.
[15:9] Absolutely, we have revealed the
reminder, and, absolutely, we will preserve it.
Johnnie Ellington II
The Quran is the perfect source of
KNOWLEDGE; it is replete with scientific and mathematical facts. Facts
that were revealed in the dark ages
when it was not possible to fully understand the value of the information,
as scientific instruments used to calculate them were not even in existence. For example:
Formation of the universe: It is
accepted knowledge that the universe
exploded from particles that burst into
existence. Though science doesn’t
know how and why this happened,
scientists agree that this is how the
earth came into existence. The
Quranic verse [21:30] “Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and
the earth used to be one solid mass
that we exploded into existence? And
from water we made all living things.
Would they believe?” serves to
strengthen the faith of those who believe in God ALONE through this scientific marvel.
Johnnie Ellington II
Breathing at higher altitudes: As
we go higher in altitude, it gets more
difficult to breathe as the pressure of
the entire atmosphere decreases, so in
effect there is less air to breathe.
Though the proportion of the gasses in
the air does not change, one breath
delivers less oxygen to the bloodstream giving the feeling of breathlessness. While this is a relatively new
discovery, God has already informed
us about this in the Quran. [6:125] …
He renders his chest intolerant and
straitened, like one who climbs towards the sky…
Johnnie Ellington II
Shape of the earth: Many great
thinkers and philosophers of the early
centuries accepted that the Earth was
flat, since most of them couldn’t perceive any other shape. Pythagoras and
Plato are early philosophers associated
with seeing things differently. Plato
suggested a spherical shape of the
earth, which was confirmed scientifically in the following centuries. The
Quran categorically informs us that
God created the earth egg shaped
[79:30] He made the earth egg-shaped
Johnnie Ellington II
The Great Feud: This is information
about events that took place in a different dimension, before the creation of
time as we know it. It is the reason for
our exile to earth. [38:69] “I had no
knowledge previously, about the feud in
the High Society. {Footnote: The feud in
the High Society was triggered by Satan’s challenge to God’s absolute authority. This is definitely the most important event in the history of the human race. We failed to make a firm
stand regarding God’s absolute authority. This life represents the third and
final chance to redeem ourselves (See
the Introduction and Appendix 7).}
These are some facts that the world
has come to know and accept only of
late; however, God has given us this
information in the Quran 1400+ years
ago, in the so-called dark ages.
The Quran also gives us clear UNDERSTANDING of concepts and
sheds light on why some things are
the way they are. While worldwide,
communities are still searching for
answers, submitters have clear understanding of them, for example:
Johnnie Ellington II
Meaning of Islam: The true understanding of the meaning of ‘Islam’
(Submission) is the worship of God
ALONE, submission to His will, obedience of His laws and instructions, to
the exclusion of all others; be they
religious leaders, heads of state, family or others. [4:125] Who is better
guided in his religion than one who
submits totally to GOD, leads a righteous life, according to the creed of
Abraham: monotheism? GOD has chosen Abraham as a beloved friend.
Johnnie Ellington II
Satan influences Abraham: We
now understand from Quran that God
did not tell Abraham to sacrifice his
son, it was the devil’s idea. This recognition is a gift to those who believe in
God alone. [37:102] When he grew
enough to work with him, he said, “My
son, I see in a dream that I am sacrificing you. What do you think?” He
said, “O my father, do what you are
commanded to do. You will find me,
GOD willing, patient.” {Footnote: The
Most Merciful never advocates evil
(7:28). As with Job, Satan claimed
that Abraham loved his son too much,
and was permitted to p

put Abraham to
that severe test.}
Johnnie Ellington II
Age of maturity: The age of maturity
across different communities varies,
with many countries setting it between 18 to 21 years. However, God
informs us that the true “age of decision” is 40 years, an understanding
based on information from the Quran.
God in His infinite mercy gives us a
lot of time to get our act together on
this earth, and it is up to us how we
use it. [46:15] We enjoined the human
being to honor his parents. His mother
bore him arduously, gave birth to him
arduously, and took intimate care of
him for thirty months. When he reaches maturity, and reaches the age of
(Continued from page 1) forty, he should say, “My Lord, direct
me to appreciate the blessings You
have bestowed upon me and upon my
parents, and to do the righteous works
that please You …”
Johnnie Ellington II
Death of Jesus: Today, we understand that Jesus’s soul (the real person) was taken away from the body
before the body was tortured and crucified. [3:54] They plotted and
schemed, but so did GOD, and GOD is
the best schemer. {Footnote: We learn
that Jesus’ soul, the real person, was
raised, i.e., Jesus’ life on earth was
terminated, prior to the arrest, torture,
and crucifixion of his empty, soulless,
but physiologically living body (See
the details in Appendix 22).}
Johnnie Ellington II
Regarding divorced women: Another example is God’s law concerning
treatment of divorced women, and the
waiting period of three menstruations
thereafter—a demonstration of God’s
wisdom. Should the woman be pregnant at the time of divorce, it is important for the father to know about
it, as it then makes the father responsible for the unborn child. Additionally, it may lead to reconciliation, considering the pregnancy [2:231] If you
divorce the women, once they fulfill
their interim (three menstruations),
you shall allow them to live in the
same home amicably, or let them leave
amicably. Do not force them to stay
Johnnie Ellington II
Messenger of the Covenant: Having a messenger who is able to clarify
and confirm God’s laws is a great
blessing. [3:164] GOD has blessed the
believers by raising in their midst a
messenger from among them, to recite
for them His revelations, and to purify
them, and to teach them the scripture
and wisdom. Before this, they had
gone totally astray. Rejecting God’s
Messenger of the Covenant serves to
expose those who doubt God’s wisdom,
despite the awesome mathematical
proof. While many people readily accept the proof, they reject the messenger, based on personal biases or based
on the opinion of their religious leaders. This, despite several verses in the
Quran warning us about the consequences of rejecting God’s messenger.
Johnnie Ellington II
[6:124] When a powerful proof comes
to them, they say, “We will not believe,
unless we are given what is given to
GOD’s messengers!” GOD knows exactly who is best qualified to deliver His
message. Such criminals will suffer
debasement at GOD, and terrible retribution as a consequence of their evil
scheming. {Footnote: Jealousy and ego
are human traits that provoke some
people to question God’s wisdom in
selecting His messengers. Corrupted
Muslim scholars have uttered this
same utterance regarding the revelation of the Quran’s mathematical code
through God’s Messenger of the Covenant.}
Johnnie Ellington II
This information and wisdom from the
Quran clarifies numerous concepts
and phenomena and helps us to appreciate diverse events; understanding that we would otherwise not have.
The WISDOM characteristic of the
Quran is distinctive with no parallel
whatsoever. [3:58] These are the revelations that we recite to you, providing
a message full of wisdom. [36:1-2] Y.
S. And the Quran that is full of wisdom. [44:4] In it (the scripture), every
matter of wisdom is clarified. Unlike
other books, the Quran is practical,
easy to understand, and easy to follow. [54:17] We made the Quran easy
to learn. Does any of you wish to
learn?
Johnnie Ellington II
This is the kind of knowledge and wisdom the Quran is brimming with. It is
a book that does not bore the reader
no matter how many times it is read.
On the contrary, every time one reads
the Quran, it only helps to build
knowledge, enhance understanding
and sharpen the intellect. While the
Quran is looked upon as a source of
religious information, it is also the
best guide to higher living. Its laws
are steeped in logic and relevance. It
encourages morality without enforcing
compulsion and makes people look
inward rather than outward, bringing
about a sense of responsibility and
self-policing. The Quran is a healing
for both body and soul, with knowledge
and wisdom to last a lifetime.

Real
Intelligence
Scientists, mathematicians and academic
achievers in general are among those
labeled as intelligent. They have the mental capacity to understand, retain, and
update their knowledge continuously and
at speedy rates. Many professions demand the ability to quickly develop sound
thoughts and judgments in order to come
up with productive strategies. Others
require the readiness of both comprehension and reasoning to interact with
the public. Those who can meet these
standards are described as intelligent,
“smart” or “winners”—they earn high
positions in all divisions, and most of the
me they achieve a high-end life style.
There is no queson about their high IQ
level. We are impressed by their mental
capacities in solving problems and coping
with the daily advancements in science
and technology.
Johnnie Ellington II
It is conclusive that among the features
of intelligence is the continued desire to
attain new knowledge. The abilities to
reason with rationality, judge with sharp
vision, and choose with wisdom are also
manifestations of intelligence. Being intellectual might also be featured with
intelligence and it is expressed as the
interest or the taste for more difficult or
abstract concepts and the capacity to
grasp these concept
Johnnie Ellington II
In the light of Quran, we get more guidance in regard to intelligence and those
who are blessed with it. Quran adds a
sophisticated framework and necessary
confines for intelligence to be considered
a real one. It teaches us about the superhuman intelligence behind our perfect
creation and everything around us, seen
and unseen. Quran also emphasizes the
importance of using our brains to observe, process knowledge, reflect, take
heed, reason based on facts, and decide
with wisdom and intelligence. We are
commanded to make use of this divine
incidence within us to study Quran and rationally analyze its data (47:24, 4:82). Intelligence and all related features are praised
and counted among God’s blessings in
Quran, but they are validated within specific boundaries.
Johnnie Ellington II
Within Quran, we encounter a logical
explanation of the origin and purpose of
life, and how we are exposed to two opposite sets of views to choose from.
Along with that, there is a detailed
presentation of the consequences of
each choice using constant examples,
accurate reminders from the past, and
profound signs and scientific proofs.
Once our God-given mental power is appropriately geared to examine and analyze this knowledge, all the puzzle pieces
come perfectly together
Johnnie Ellington II
We recognize
God’s authority behind the whole creation we find God and we comprehend
the reason behind our existence from
beginning to end. We reach an intelligent
realization that we are here only to worship God alone, and save, grow, and free
our souls. It becomes evident that the
thoughts and actions that lead to the
righteous behavioral pattern or life style
prescribed in Quran would eventually
spare our souls and dictate our eternal
peace and dignity. This is when we find
the real intelligent thoughts and actions.
Johnnie Ellington II
We become certain about returning to
God and we start to take His systems,
promises, and oaths seriously. We value
His words the way we should. This is a
positive use of intelligence according to
the Master and the source of all intelligence.
Wasting our mental capacity in making
decisions that would jeopardize our salvation and replace eternal peace and
dignity with eternal loss and misery is not
an intelligent or logical choice. If we fail
to comprehend that, our intelligence
becomes pointless. It becomes a useless
resource that does not benefit the soul.
Johnnie Ellington II
[23:78] He is the One who granted you
the hearing, the eyesight, and the brains.
Rarely are you appreciative.
[55:3] Creator of the human beings.
[55:4] He taught them how to distinguish.
[17:36] You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I
have given you the hearing, the eyesight,
and the brain, and you are responsible for
using them.
[76:2-3] We created the human from a
liquid mixture, from two parents, in order
to test him. Thus, we made him a hearer
and a seer. We showed him the two
paths, then he is either appreciative, or
unappreciative
Johnnie Ellington II
Out of His infinite mercy and compassion,
God made us with the instinct to develop
the real intelligence. Every human is born
with this instinct (7:172, 30:30).
We are intelligent when we recognize
the truth,
[13:19] Is one who recognizes that your
Lord’s revelations to you are the truth
equal to one who is blind? Only those
who possess intelligence will take heed.
[34:6] It is evident to those who are
blessed with knowledge that this revelation
is from your Lord to you is the truth,
and that it guides to the path of the Almighty, the Most Praiseworthy
Johnnie Ellington II
when we reflect on Quran & take heed,
[38:29] This is a scripture that we sent
down to you, that is sacred—perhaps
they reflect on its verses. Those who possess intelligence will take heed.
[2:269] He bestows wisdom upon whomever He chooses, and whoever attains
wisdom, has attained a great bounty.
Only those who possess intelligence will
take heed.
Johnnie Ellington II
when we choose the guidance,
[39:18] They are the ones who examine
all words, then follow the best. These are
the ones whom God has guided; these are
the ones who possess intelligence.
[4:162] As for those among them who are
well founded in knowledge, and the believers, they believe in what was revealed
to you, and in what was revealed before
you. They are observers of the Contact
Prayers (Salat), and givers of the obligatory charity (Zakat); they are believers in
God and the Last Day. We grant these a
great recompense.
Johnnie Ellington II
when we reverence God,
[5:100] Proclaim: “The bad and the good
are not the same, even if the abundance of
the bad may impress you. You shall reverence God, (even if you are in the minority)
O you who possess intelligence, that you
may succeed.”
[35:28] Also, the people, the animals, and
the livestock come in various colors. This is
why the people who truly reverence God
are those who are knowledgeable. God is
Almighty, Forgiving.
Johnnie Ellington II
when we oppose evil,
[11:116] If only some of those among the
previous generations possessed enough
intelligence to forbid evil! Only a few of
them deserved to be saved by us. As for the
transgressors, they were preoccupied with
their material luxuries; they were guilty.
Johnnie Ellington II
when we analyze signs and scientific
proofs,
[3:190] In the creation of the heavens and
the earth, and the alteration of night and
day, there are signs for those who possess
intelligence.
[29:43] We cite these examples for the
people, and none appreciate them except
the knowledgeable.
[30:22] Among His proofs are the creation
of the heavens and the earth, and the variation in your languages and your colors.
In these, there are signs for the knowledgeable.
[12:105] So many proofs in the heavens
(Continued from page 3) and the earth are given to them, but they
pass by them, heedlessly!
Johnnie Ellington II
when we benefit from reminders,
[39:21] Do you not see that God sends
down from the sky water, then places it
into underground wells, then produces
with it plants of various colors, then they
grow until they turn yellow, then He turns
them into hay? This should be a reminder
for those who possess intelligence.
[40:54] (Their history) is a lesson and a
reminder for those who possess intelligence.
Johnnie Ellington II
and when we fully comprehend and value God’s oaths
[89:5] A profound oath, for one who possesses intelligence.
[56:76] This is an oath, if you only knew,
that is awesome.
Using our knowledge and our mind to fit
into God’s definition of intelligence is the
real intelligence. Intelligence becomes a
part of the illusion of this fleeing world if
we don’t use it to recognize God and to
choose the appreciative, straight path

“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And
can the liberties of a nation be thought

with His wrath?”
