The Human Jesus and Christian Deism. Human beings are designed to live in accord with certain natural laws which can be discovered by anyone through observation, experience, and reasoning.
The violation of these natural laws is destructive to life. Living in harmony with these laws enhances an individual’s life and contributes to the establishment of a peaceful and prosperous human society. A man named Jesus called this ideal society “the kingdom of God” on earth.
My name is John L. and I want to share my discovery of the original gospel (“good news”) of Jesus. If we look beyond the myths and theological theories that have accumulated around Jesus, we can see a real human being with a vital message for us today.
…Jesus said that everyone knows the truth, “It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me” (John 6:45). Jesus also said, “My teaching is not mine, but His who sent me; if any man’s will is to do His (God’s) will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority” (John 7:16-17). According to these statements, people already know God’s will and those who are seeking to follow it can recognize that
Jesus is teaching the truth, and they will be attracted to Jesus.
Jesus summarized God’s truth or “commandments” (laws) as “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39). The word “love” means “to appreciate” or “to value.” We should appreciate God as the giver of life, and we should value life in other persons as much as we value life in ourselves. In his parable of the “talents” (Matthew 25:14-30), Jesus taught that we show our love to God by how we use the life that God has entrusted to us. In his parable of the “good Samaritan” (Luke 10:30-37), Jesus taught that we fail to love others when we cause human suffering or when we do not try to relieve human suffering when we can do so.
...Unfortunately, soon after Jesus’ lifetime, a man named Paul of Tarsus began proclaiming a very different message. Paul never claimed to have seen or heard Jesus during Jesus’ lifetime, but claimed that Jesus had appeared later to Paul in some kind of vision after the death of Jesus. Paul began preaching that Jesus “was in the form of God, . . . . but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death of the cross” (Philippians 2:6-7).
Paul viewed the crucifixion of Jesus as a sacrifice to God to atone for the sins of humankind. Paul wrote, “But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ (Jesus) died for us. Since therefore we are now justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved from the wrath of God” (Romans 5:8-9). According to Jesus, we are forgiven by God if we repent of our sins and we are
willing to forgive others who sin against us, but Paul taught that Jesus had to die as a human sacrifice to obtain God’s forgiveness and save us “from the wrath of God.” Paul’s teaching, or “gospel,” was very different from Jesus’ gospel.
Paul claimed that his “gospel” was revealed directly to Paul by Jesus after the death of Jesus. Paul wrote, “For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not man’s gospel. For I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ” (Galatians 1:11-12).
It is clear that Paul replaced Jesus’ natural religion with a so-called “revealed” religion. In all of his letters found in the New Testament, Paul never quotes the teachings of Jesus. Jesus’ gospel calling for people to repent of their failures to love, and to forgive each other, was replaced with Paul’s “gospel” of blood sacrifice to appease an angry God. A series of church councils in the fourth century compounded the errors of Paul by making Jesus equal to God and institutionalizing Paul’s “substitutionary theory” of atonement.
Brother John. A Voice from Ukraine
Good day! I am writing you from Lviv, Ukraine. I am very thankful for receiving from web site "QURAN." After reading such topics from your web-page on Jesus and corruption of Bible, firstly I was disappointed, but after thinking about that I get acknowledgement: There is not any contradiction between point of view on Jesus and his message and that what I found in 'QURAN". Jesus always referred to himself an expression "Son of man." Also I know about history of creating a critical Greek text of New Testament /Nestle-Aland/ from pieces of sentences from different sources of different time frames.
I am writing that because I found no contradiction between real message of Bible and The last Revelation of G-d. Thank you for your help to find the complete truth of Quran alone without referring to man's tradition. I have not yet decided to become a submitter, I have to evaluate how will my life is to be changed with war on going. I recently get to know that in my city there is a small organization of traditionalist Muslims. Thank you. I found in public library several books on history of Islamic religion. Good bye.

My dearest family in Submission
I live in Perth, Australia, and have been constantly visiting your tremendous and insightful web site on the true Islam (Submission to God Alone). God be glorified and due to His infinite grace, and thanks to your marvelous efforts with Submitters Perspective newsletters and other literature, I have now a better understanding about Submission that I did not know before.
Just like the majority of believers, I had been raised up in the traditional Islam in a Sunni/Hanafi environment. Since a young age, I have always been a spiritual person and loved hearing tales about God and religion. However, whenever my eldest used to discuss religious matters with me, I would always hear it from hadith (so-called stories of Muhammad) and very little from the Quran. To keep the story brief, last year (2023) I performed my Hajj, and I was so amazed and taken by the great experience that when I arrived home I began to search deeper information on Islam. After going through the dozen of so-called "Islamic" web sites, God Almighty pointed me to the right sources on the true Islam. He somehow brought me to your web site and submission, and I haven't stopped visiting your web site ever since I found it on my screen.
I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for spreading the real truth about Islam. God bless you, always.
Yours truly Ephraim, A submitter sharing of personal feelings and appreciation of GOD Alone
… I'm learning to realize that I must take it one day at a time. I'm learning the beauty of [the Quran] inshallah (God willing). I'm learning the grace and beauty of GOD's eternal love and mercy. I'm learning that indeed the Quran is the mind and will of the Most Gracious in my life. I'm learning that the Quran is the easiest and most interesting book to read. It's clear and concise in making the impression upon my mind the contrast of good and evil. Its allegories and parables are most beautiful and poetic. It's remarkable how easy it is to recite and memorize the sayings of the Quran.
Truly like magic the Quran has me spellbound. For the FIRST time in my life I can appreciate GOD Alone. Never did I realize before the significant of that glorious phrase "Worship GOD Alone!" For the FIRST time ever I feel connected to the Universe and the Creation of all things. For the FIRST time ever I feel connected to the pattern of all things. For the FIRST time ever I'm thanking and praising GOD Alone for everything small and great as I observe the magnificent glorious creation of all things….The more I praise GOD the more He gives me peace and joy. The more I read the Quran the more I want to praise GOD Alone. I praise GOD Alone as I conclude my e-mail of appreciation for this wonderful morning in a small midwestern town with a verse from the Quran, remembering what Abraham said:
[19:48] "I will abandon you and the gods you worship beside GOD. I will worship only my Lord. By imploring my Lord alone, I cannot go wrong."
This verse gives me a good answer to whom might question my religion. I can simply reply, "If I implore GOD Alone, how can I go wrong?" Rodney GUIDANCE—A GIFT FROM GOD
There are so many gifts from God in our lives. We have to try to remember to be thankful for each of them. I think sometimes overlooked is the ultimate gift that makes everything else possible—and that's the gift of guidance.
How does an American woman raised in the Episcopal church find her way into an exotic religion like Islam? My mother asked me that once, assuming I would name some person who brought me into it, but at that moment I realized without question that it was God who brought me here. The Christian tradition in which I was raised doesn't really allow for God's involvement in our day to day activities. So this was an alien concept to my mother. But with this gift of guidance comes the understanding that God is doing everything; He is running every moment of my life; He is with me continuously. Without His guidance to that understanding, I would have continued blundering without knowledge.
God is so incredibly merciful. He doesn't just tell us we have to worship Him or we won't make it to heaven. He spells out how to achieve this. Then He sends scripture, messengers and individual guidance. He told Adam and Eve and their descendants:
“Go down therefrom, all of you. When guidance comes to you from Me, those who follow My guidance will have no fear, nor will they grieve.” (2:38)
God offers this guidance to everyone. There are many moments in our lives when we either recognize that guidance, accept it and follow it, or ignore it and carry on in darkness. God then enhances that choice. In our contact prayers, 17 times a day, the one thing we ask of God is:
Guide us in the right path, the path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers. (1:6-7)
We were all of us in darkness until God guided us into the light, into understanding and knowledge. He tells us at the end of 2:198:
You shall commemorate Him for guiding you; before this, you had gone astray.
Being thankful for that guidance is an important thing for us to remember.
God guides those who seek His approval. He guides them to the paths of peace, leads them out of darkness into the light by His leave, and guides them in a straight path.(5:16)
Very early in Sura 2, God describes the righteous:
This scripture is infallible; a beacon for the righteous; who believe in the unseen, observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity. And they believe in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you, and with regard to the Hereafter, they are absolutely certain. These are guided by their Lord; these are the winners. (2:2-5)
If we are guided by God, we are winners. Therefore, guidance is a gift without price. In many verses, God reminds us of the power of this gift. They act as if they are doing you a favor by embracing submission! Say, “You are not doing me any favors by embracing Submission. God is the One who is doing you a great favor by guiding you to the faith, if you are sincere." (49:17)
Whomever God guides is the truly guided one, and whomever He commits to straying, these are the losers. (7:178)
This guidance is not an arbitrary gift. God doesn’t pick and choose at random. He is fully aware of those who deserve the guidance, those who will recognize it and follow it, and those who will listen heedlessly and then turn away, following instead their own opinions.
Had God willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He sends astray whoever chooses to go astray, and He guides whoever wishes to be guided. You will surely be asked about everything you have done. (16:93)
You cannot guide the ones you love. God is the only One who guides in accordance with His will, and in accordance with His knowledge of those who deserve the guidance. [28:56]
Another interesting thing about guidance is that it seems to be a process. If we allow ourselves to receive it, then
God increases it; the sequence and timeframe will be appropriate to each individual. God describes this process of receiving guidance in almost physical terms. Our whole being cringes away from the awesomeness of God; then God actually softens the hearts and minds of those who are striving to let Him in. God makes a comparison in terms we can understand. He describes someone willing to accept Submission as having a wide open heart. And someone unwilling to seek God’s guidance is like someone at the top of Mt Everest, his chest constricted until it is physically painful.
If God renders one's heart content with Submission, he will be following a light from his Lord. Therefore, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against God's message; they have gone far astray. God has revealed herein the best Hadith; a book that is consistent, and points out both ways (to Heaven and Hell). The skins of those who reverence their Lord cringe therefrom, then their skins and their hearts soften up for God's message. Such is God's guidance; He bestows it upon whoever wills (to be guided). As for those sent astray by God, nothing can guide them. (39:22-3)
Whomever God wills to guide, He renders his chest wide open to Submission. And whomever He wills to send astray, He renders his chest intolerant and straitened, like one who climbs towards the sky. God thus places a curse upon those who refuse to believe. [6:125]
Guidance from God is a very personal, individualized gift. And it’s so very important for us to recognize it, follow it and be appreciative of it. We want to be among those who are invited into Paradise, pleased and pleasing. Only with God’s guidance will we make it. We don’t want to be like those described in 39:54-60, who actually have the audacity to say:
“Had God guided me, I would have been with the righteous.” Or 3:86: Why should God guide people who disbelieved after believing and after witnessing that the messenger is truth, and after solid proofs have been given to them? God does not guide the wicked.
We want to be among those described in 22:54:
Those who are blessed with knowledge will recognize the truth from your Lord, then believe in it, and their hearts will readily accept it. Most assuredly, God guides the believers in the right path. And 19:76: God augments the guidance of those who choose to be guided. For the good deeds are eternally rewarded by your Lord, and bring far better returns.
Lydian You have a truly beautiful website!! It was great to actually hear the truth about Islam and the Quran. So much of what we learn about Islam is taught from people who either do not understand or have a hidden agenda. The media always seem to mention if a terrorist is Muslim! Hopefully, through websites such as yours, this will all change.
May God Bless You,
F. D
I would like to thank you for allowing me to download the Holy Quran with the mathematical miracle of the Quran. In my study so far I have found it inspiring, encouraging and amazing.
Thanks
P M. Australia The Soul Seeketh HIM
My journey in seeking God goes back to when I was a child, at the age of 7! I was a Christian before, who truly went to church but at a tender age, I guess I was still blurry about the mystery of GOD. Jesus was my idol and all I knew was to pray to ASK for help and thank God for things in life.
When I look back at my past, I remember the first time I asked myself if GOD was truly present. I was just a 7 year old child. It was in school then, and as usual mom gave me 20 cents for pocket money for food during recess time at school. Every day, I was always careful with the 20 cents because I love food and that 20 cents gets my stomach filled with food during my recess period.
That particular day at school, during recess period, I was shaken when I checked my school-dress pocket and noticed the 20 cents was MISSING! I usually check it every time when it’s almost recess period during the lessons in class. I was devastated. I never was careless at all. I was always careful with what I loved most and this 20 cents was my BIG MONEY at that time.
At this point I felt my world tumble and I was dizzy. Dizzy at the fact I won’t get my favorite Milk Rice with Fried Anchovies! I looked everywhere. Believe me, I even turned over my school bag, emptying it totally, where obviously I did NOT put my pocket money, be cause it was just 20 cents, small enough to put in my school-dress pocket! I just checked as if I needed to check everything, even if it did not matter. It was no where! It was really missing. I checked in my pencil case, in my school bag, in my pocket, and even on the desk, beneath all the books, and still no where. I actually prayed in that moment of despair. I thought I was going to be hungry and needed help!
As a little girl, all I knew was to pray simply and it was “God, I know you love me. I lost 20 cents, God. Please, Lord, OPEN my eyes and show me the 20 cents. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. I promise to be a good girl and be careful with my money next time.” This was my humble prayer of innocent supplication to the God that I always had the instinct He knew me although I did not know Him that well as a child.
Do you know what happened at that moment as I opened my eyes after my prayers? A 20-cent coin was right in my pocket! The very same school-dress pocket I had been searching and searching. It was an amazing miracle to me. Imagine—a 7 year old child sees magic for the first time in her life. To me, that was magic. And I knelt immediately in front of my desk, and said Thank you, GOD! Thank you for loving me! Thank you for GIVING me this money for food! It was beautiful. Truly, the heart rejoiced and I just knew that there is a GOD who hears us.
This was the first experience, and after that, I always prayed when I lost something and asked the Lord to open my eyes to see where I placed it, even if I had checked the place several times. It was always a miracle to me.
This was my advice to my mom who had misplaced 10,000 dollars in her room which was meant to be paid to the bank for a deposit. I was at work at that time, as an adult woman. She was in despair when she called me, shaken, as it was a big sum she could not find. I told her “please Ma, just kneel in prayer, and ASK the LORD.” She called me within 10 minutes after she hung up the phone after my advice to her to go in prayer to ask the LORD, and she was screaming that a miracle happened! The money was in the same place she had checked earlier which was not to be found then, and now it was there! Right below her pillow. She screamed at the faith I had. She screamed that I was right. There was a miracle. There was GOD.
To me, that was LOVE. I felt God truly loves us no matter who we are, what race we are, and even, what religion we are from. The fact is, we are human beings, made at His mercy and our main purpose is to serve Him only. The ONE AND ONLY GOD Almighty. Someday the whole world shall know this ONE ALMIGHTY GOD and I pray these lost souls shall soon find Him. You just need to SEEK, and you shall find.
I was a Christian before, brought up with beautiful, inspiring thoughts of LOVE. The Christian wants to serve the people around them with love, regardless of race and religion. That was the mind-set I had as I moved on in life. I became acquainted with friends of other races and religions. It was my biggest gift that God gave me the gift of kindness and friendliness. It was easy for anyone to love me and be loved in return as friends. I met my Muslim friends back in my workplace.
It was a splendid journey that I was introduced to Islam. I was very open to talking about any religion at all. I was even curious about Hinduism, Buddhism and others just because my friends were all from so many different faiths and I loved them all very much.
My Muslim friends were close to me as well. When a Muslim friend of mine gave me the first Quran in a language I was not good in at all, I read it despite having trouble understanding it. But to me, the message was from the same GOD OF LOVE that I knew of. But in this doctrine, God seemed more particular and strict about OBEYING HIS commandments. God meant business here! You had to work righteousness, and you “worship ME ALONE,” He said… I thought for a long time. I felt a bell ring in my ear.
I was interested, and sought more details about this GOD. Then, my colleague guided me to understand Allah (God Almighty). I felt a love from of old when I hear His Name. There must be something in me that connect to this god. He must be closer to me than my thoughts. Then I read about His attributes. It was so amazing. He has the most beautiful words to describe Him. And yes, this is in the Old Testament of the Bible that I came across many times before. I loved the Psalms of the Bible because in it, I saw the words of the Quran come alive.
It was so uplifting and inspiring to praise and magnify Our Creator. I started searching the internet for English Quran online and I was always reading the Quran online at work . I could have bought the English Quran but all they had was Abdullah Yusuf Ali’s translation which was a 1934 edition. I couldn’t understand that English. So I just enjoyed reading the English Quran at my office computer.
At the point of seeking to pray, I asked a lady how to pray. The minute she gave me a website, I checked others as well, and noticed all had the Prophet Muhammad’s name inside to be recited in prayers. I was doubtful of the prayer.
I did not know the Prophet, and here people were asking me to bless him that I didn’t know of. Well, I did not want to hurt anyone nor offend my friends. I accepted it, but deep within my heart there was always a question of why. I also questioned if this was the way to worship, since they called it Abraham’s faith. Then did Abraham pray and recite Muhammad’s name to get blessings? Abraham is our father of old and came a long time before Prophet Muhammad existed. It did not make sense to me. I chose to leave out the name of Muhammad in my prayers because my deep instinct told me that I am meant to worship GOD ALONE.
When my colleague heard what I said about Muhammad’s name being left out in my prayers, she said I won’t be helped in the Hereafter, and that it is a MUST to praise (salawat) the Prophet. I laughed and asked her if all the prophets of old and those who prayed before Muhammad’s time were going to hell? She kept silent and was dumbfounded at the logic. I then told her calmly, I agree to certain extent, but I also choose to disagree to certain extent. It’s my grave and let it be between God and myself. She left and I was at a loss at their faith. How could they believe something without thinking?
The converts come from a total different point of view than a Muslim’s point of view. We decide based on logic. For example, I can’t accept what someone says just because I’m told by a certain scholar that this is compulsory. I have a mind that thinks. Obviously God has blessed us with brains to think for ourselves. Even when the Quran says something I don’t understand, I am one who asks God. Praise God, I have always got my answers whenever I pray and ask God for the answers.
Believe me, there is no harm asking God because we are truly dumb creatures that need God’s loving Hands to guide us all the way. And I ask in a humble way as a child asks the father, out of pure innocence. Seek not the Lord with arrogance and pride. And do not think we are perfect to judge the rest of the other faiths in the world.
It is our duty to create awareness to these hearts who never knew our loving God through simple discussions of the salvation. Sometimes people can be so defensive that they think they are “God” to judge and curse us even at the thought of simple questions. I am sad to see the Muslims in today’s world behave this way.
I am glad to be a Submitter! This is the greatest message that you brother, has helped convey to us. I am blessed to be here today to serve my GOD ALONE. To Him belong all Glory, Honor and Praise.
The Submitters have a salvation plan. We live on earth and know who we are, our purpose in life, and where do we go from here. This question is an instinct that digs deeply into our soul and mind when we really look at the beauty of the earth and the heavens. We are here to seek and worship GOD Alone, obey HIS commandments and believe that God is waiting for our return because He loves us BEST at all times.
Our true place belongs in His Mighty Kingdom. Thus we must strive to obey this God that loves us best. The Almighty who truly blesses us with great understanding of His great plan and His beautiful paradise. Why not start the day with a blessing of prayers to the ones around us who do not know our Almighty God the real way. May those who are lost and never knew Our God, gain a deeper understanding by His Will. Truly, He seeks to love us and guide us towards His path.
As we seek Him, He guides us towards His path of truth. Brothers and Sisters, seek fervently for God’s Mighty blessings to open your minds, clear your understanding, gain a deeper wisdom because the greatest gift on human being is WISDOM. If you hear the story of King Solomon, you know that He was bestowed with great wisdom. When God asked him what he wanted as a King, He asked a very smart gift—wisdom. And God granted this to him and that made him so well known and was admired all over the world. It is not we who get wisdom by ourselves, but it is a gift of GOD to us.
Seek and you shall find… This comes from one of the gospels in Matthew 7: 7-8: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (NIV)
The most wonderful thing in life to me is—God’s love. And till today, my principle is GOD loves the righteous. And due to the fear of Him, I LOVE ALMIGHTY GOD, MY CREATOR, MY ALL. Thus this makes me want to follow His instructions in life with much care and determination.
