All the scriptures of God have the same basic and universal message reflecting the first and greatest commandment of all:

“There is only one God. You shall devote your worship absolutely to God alone.”

The verses given below from different scriptures exemplify this fact very clearly:

“I, the Lord, am your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. You shall not have other gods besides Me”

(Deut. 5:6-7).

One of the scribes came up, and when he heard them arguing he realized how skillfully Jesus answered them. He decided to ask him, “Which is the first of all the commandments?”

Jesus replied: “This is the first

‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God

is Lord alone!

Therefore, you shall love the Lord, your God,

with all your heart,

with all your soul,

with all your mind,

and with all your strength’ ”

(Mark 12:28-30.

We did not send any messenger before you except with the inspiration: “There is no God except Me; you shall worship Me alone”

(Quran 21:25).

As far as God is concerned, there is only one true religion which is Submission (Quran 3:19). The word “Submission” implies recognition of God as the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Creator, absolute Ruler of the Universe, and the only source of religious guidance. Thus, Submission is practiced around the world under many names, and anyone who practices Submission to God alone is called a Submitter.

“Surely, those who believe,

those who are Jewish,

the Christians,

the converts;

anyone who

believes in God,

and the Last Day,

and leads a righteous life,

will receive their recompense

from their Lord;

they have nothing to fear,

nor will they grieve”

(Quran 2:62, 5:69)

Unfortunately, Satan, the human beings’ most ardent enemy, has succeeded in corrupting the religion, regardless of its source. Consequently, the Jews, the Christians, and the Muslims have been deceived away from the true message brought to them by the prophets Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. The majority of the Jews today follow such human-made teachings as the Mishnah and the Gemara, instead of upholding the Torah as the only source of religious teachings.

The majority of the Christians follow the human-made instructions of the Nicene Conference that was held more than 300 years after Jesus. As a result of this conference, the blasphemous concept of “Trinity” was formalized.

The majority of the Muslims fell into the same satanic trap that the Jews did. They started following the human-made teachings falsely attributed toProphet Muhammad, instead of upholding the Quran alone. These teachings, which are called Hadith and Sunnah, became an integral part of the religion. Whereas the Quran is God’s word, a consistent, reliable source, full of wisdom and without any nonsense, the hadiths attributed to Prophet Muhammad are collections of man’s word about 200 years after his death. They are full of hearsay, nonsense, contradictions and unnecessary details to the extent of making the religion a burden for people.

Unfortunately, as a result of abandoning God’s revelations in their scriptures in favor of human-made religious teachings, the people of the scriptures today are divided into many sectarian groups, each claiming to lead the way to salvation. Therefore, it is time for the people of God’s scriptures to go back to the basics of their religion. There is only one true God to worship, and we should all submit to Him alone!

The beauty of Submission is that it is universal. God gives everyone an opportunity to make it, regardless of what they call themselves.

Submission: The Only Religion

 Indeed, those who submit themselves absolutely to God alone, while leading a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.  (2:112)

The only religion approved by God is “Submission.” Ironically, those who have received the scripture are the ones who dispute this fact, despite the knowledge they have received, due to jealousy. For such rejectors of God’s revelations, God is most strict in reckoning. (3:19)
